Yvonne Craiger, DVM
Dr. Craiger brings a wealth of experience to Animal Emergency Hospital. She has been practicing since receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 from Michigan State University. Her experience spans the gambit, having worked with exotic species such as small mammals and reptiles, developed her skills in dermatology and internal medicine, as well as experience in emergency medicine and surgery. As a firm believer in life-long learning, she strives to improve herself through continuing education in veterinary medicine.
Beyond the furry faces she meets at the hospital, she has two pets of her own: a 6-year-old small mixed breed aptly named Einstein for the mop of hair on his head, and Zoe, a 16-year-old Maine Coon whose life’s purpose seems to be keeping the sofas cozy and warm! When she’s not deeply involved in her work with the hospital, you can find Dr. Craiger hiking, swimming, or indulging in her favorite hobbies like singing and reading—and she’s also learning how to paint!
Gloriani Rosario, DVM
Dr. Rosario has been practicing with Animal Emergency Hospital for 2 years. Specializing in emergency and surgery, she brings key skills to the hospital and its patients. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 from Michigan State University and quickly joined the team here where she strives to meet the needs of each and every pet!
She is married to her husband, Nestor and they have 3 furry kids together: a poodle mix, Bruno, a Dachshund, Midori, and a Great Dane, Kodah, all of whom she loves to spend her free time with. When she’s not at the hospital, or playing with her own dogs, Dr. Rosario enjoys watching movies and painting. And she’s a huge lover of travel. Sight-seeing road trips and international adventures are always on her agenda. Next trip? South Africa and Greece!
Derek Erickson, DVM
Dr. Erickson joined the Animal Emergency Hospital team in 2017 after earning his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University. While at MSU, Dr. Erickson was awarded the Dr. Robert B. Ziegler Caring Award.
He truly has a large heart for little paws. He shares his home with Michele, a morkie, and Romy, a chihuahua/dachshund mix.
Dr. Erickson enjoys kayaking, golf, fishing and hiking. His most recent ventures were along the Incan Trail in Peru. He also enjoys Magic the Gathering and trivia.

Dr. Bickerstaff is married and lives on a small farm with horses, cows, chickens and ducks. Her home is blessed with Wilma, a great dane, Pebbles, a blue heeler, and two cats, Chester and Elvis.
She enjoys gardening, riding horses, and farming with her husband. They also enjoy bonfires and concerts together in the summer.
