To the Staff at Emergency Animal Hospital ~
We want to wish all of you’re a Merry Christmas and a special thank you for your care and concern for our dog Mongo that you treated last year.
We’ll never forget that night, December 23rd, Mongo was apparently suffering from grand mal seizures. My husband, son, and I have never witnessed anything like that before in our lives. Obviously, we wound up at your clinic and you stabilized and treated Mongo for this disorder. The very next day, you called to say we could bring him home!! (Of course, we heard his barking in the background.)
After a visit with our regular veterinarian, we have had him on Phenobarbital, 2x daily (1 ¼ pills). We are happy to report that he has had no repeat seizures since then. His blood count was 76, which they said was a good level. Mongo was in this last Tuesday for a blood draw to check the ‘barb’ levels and to check his kidneys. We should be getting the results soon. Mongo is their favorite 3-legged dog, and they were heartbroken to hear of the seizures. (Like he needs another problem!)
In closing, again, we just want to profoundly say THANK YOU for your care and concern for our little big guy Mongo. You do a wonderful job and the follow-up calls just show how much you care!! Bless all of you. Pets are like children too.
Merry Christmas to all, and again, THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!
Jerry and Maureen Post, Adam Dann, Phoebe Jane (Mongo’s sister) and of course, MONGO
